About Taaleri Real Estate
Taaleri Real Estate is a Nordic investment and fund manager focusing on commercial and residential assets.

We empower what matters by making an impact. The real estate sector has one of the largest carbon footprints, accounting for approximately 35% of all CO2 emissions globally. By taking measures to reduce emissions in our investments, we can make a real difference.

Taaleri is a frontrunner in housing funds
Taaleri Real Estate has a proven track record in managing diverse real estate funds with impressive returns for investors. Taaleri Real Estate has extensive experience in structuring and establishing real estate funds. For 15 years, we have managed both closed-end and open-end real estate funds, ranging from core to opportunistic strategies. Currently, we are managing six real estate funds and three separately managed accounts.
In 2009, Taaleri was one of the first fund managers to introduce a housing fund in Finland. Our housing funds under core/core+ strategies have consistently outperformed the market, delivering an equity multiple of 1.4–2.0 and an average net IRR of close to 13%.

Jan Hellman
Investment Director, Fund Manager
Jan Hellman joined Taaleri in 2016. Jan works as an Investment Direcotor in Real Estate Business and as a designated Portfolio Manager for several of Taaleri's closed-end Real Estate Funds.
Jan has extensive over 10 years of experience in the real estate sector and private equity industry. His in-depth knowledge covers the whole lifecycle of a real estate fund; from fund strategy, fund structuring and fund raising to fund and investment management, and up to divestments. He has experience in both closed and open-end real estate funds and proven track record of successfully executed exits.
Before joining Taaleri Jan held an Investment Manager position at real estate private equity company ICECAPITAL.
Jan holds M.Sc. in Economics (Management & Accounting) from the Aalto University/Helsinki School of Economics.
Salla Kalliola
Head of Asset Management, Portfolio Manager
Salla Kalliola joined Taaleri Real Estate in 2021. Salla works as a Portfolio Manager in Non-UCITS Fund Aktia Commercial Properties.
Salla has over 10 years of experience in real estate business and asset management. She has managed real estate and their profitability for Finnish and international real estate investment companies and has gained wide experience in customer relations, leasing and contract negotiations. In addition, she is experienced in real estate management, property transactions and development processes.
Before joining Taaleri Salla worked as a Portfolio Manager at Aktia Bank. She has also worked as an Asset Manager in real estate investment company Antilooppi and in Ilmarinen Mutual Pension Company, gaining valuable experience from institutional level asset management, leasing and tenant relationships.
Salla holds a BBA in Facility Management from Turku University of Applied Sciences.
Arttu Kolu
Financial Manager
Arttu Kolu joined Taaleri in 2020 as a Financial Manager. Arttu is in charge of financial management of Taaleri Real Estate business and Taaleri Real Estate funds. In addition, Arttu leads all financial asset management operations including outsourced financial property managers.
Arttu has five years of experience in various real estate related financial management positions. He has worked for both Finnish and International investors and has expertise also in cross-border acquisitions and tax structuring.
Prior to joining Taaleri, Arttu held a Controller position in SBB Samhällsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB, and prior to SBB, Financial System Specialist and Accountant positions in
Newsec Property Asset Management Oy.
Arttu holds a M.Sc. in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Vaasa.
Jyrki Moilanen
Director, Treasury and Finance
Jyrki Moilanen joined Taaleri in 2018. Jyrki leads all property financing operations of Taaleri Real Estate. Jyrki has extensive over 20 years of experience in property financing and group treasury operations. His in-depth expertise covers especially financing, hedging, optimisation of collaterals, cash and risk management and short and long-term strategic planning of funding.
Prior to joining Taaleri, Jyrki has held executive level positions at Sponda Oyj, being responsible for funding of the Sponda Group and a portfolio of total interest-bearing debt of EUR 2 billion.
Jyrki Holds M.Sc. in Economics and Business Administration from the Aalto University.
Olli Saurama
Technical Asset Manager
Olli Saurama joined Taaleri Real Estate in 2020 as a Technical Asset Manager. Olli leads all technical asset management operations including all outsourced technical property managers. Olli has extensive over 10 years of experience in property management operations and property maintenance. His comprehensive knowledge covers especially energy efficiency and opex, capex and sustainability optimisation as well as long-term planning.
Before joining Taaleri, Olli held several different positions at Newsec Property Asset Management where he had clients from institutional investors, private and public companies and real estate funds.
Mimmi Sjöblom
Associate
Mimmi Sjöblom joined Taaleri Real Estate as an Analyst in 2021. Mimmi is part of the Transactions Team, and has in addition to various investment analyses, a key role in acquisition and sales.
Mimmi has five years of experience in the real estate sector. Her in-depth knowledge covers the whole lifecycle of an investment process and both residential and commercial property segments.
Before joining Taaleri she worked as a Real Estate Analyst at SATO’s investment team gaining valuable experience in the Finnish residential investment market. She has also worked at pension insurance company Elo’s domestic real estate investment team as a Specialist.
Mimmi holds a BBA from Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences and a M.Sc. (Tech) in Real Estate Economics from the Aalto University
